Warm hats
Last year I must have lost my mind. I knit three afghans, not baby afghans, but full sized afghans. So this year my sanity must have returned, because I am enjoying less monumental projects. Hats are one of those things that I am drawn to knit. I love keeping my head warm on cold days. I suffer from the occasional migraine, and I think cold may be one of my triggers. The latest hat I knit was Lorna Miser's Quilted Columns Hat. I used some Malabrigo Rios yarn. It's a wonderful tonal dyed worsted weight Merino wool.
I knit this up in a couple hours while at the Mountain Hollow Farm yarn retreat. This one is for my daughter. She loves all things blue.
