Magical Two Way Capelet

Last April I attended Stitches South in Nashville, Tennessee.  What an amazing experience.  One of the highlights of my trip was getting to take a class with the talented Nicky Epstein.   The class was called "Block Party".  I think it was named well.  Nicky enjoys life and makes everything a party.  

Here we are showing off our knitted items.  It was a class about taking knitted blocks and turning them into other items.  I made a capelet with mine.  

The class is based on Nicky's book "Block by Block."  If you get a chance to pick up this book, it is a treasure trove of what you can make with knitted squares. Lots of ladies made the cutest little turtles in class.  We got to see everything from scarves, to hoods, to cardigans made from squares.
