Desert Vest

Did I mention how amazing Stitches South was?  It was incredible.  I learned so much. I described it as yarn lovers' paradise.  I was lucky enough to win a wonderful door prize from Fiesta Yarns, a pattern for Desert Vest, four skeins of Cottonista and a skein of Gelato.  Here's the vest I made.

Normally, I'm not a huge fan of knitting with cotton yarn, but the Cottonista is a cotton/tencel blend. The addition of tencel makes it look amazing and feel luxurious.
