Sewing the Beads of Love

Today I had the privilege of taking a knitted bead bracelet class at the Yarn Haven in Knoxville.  It was taught by Mimi Kever.  I had never knit with beads before but have always loved the way beads look in knitted items.  The beads we used were from Japan and were beautiful.  The first one is made with copper colored square beads and sapphire colored round beads.  They are knit on embroidery floss and size 1 double-pointed needles (otherwise known as toothpicks).
This bracelet took a little under two hours to make.  I love the way it turned out.
I started another wider bracelet today as well.  I can't wait until it's finished.
