Lovely Lace Wristlets
I found a fun pattern in the new Knit Simple, Spring/Summer 2014 magazine.
There are several cute patterns from this magazine. The first one I thought I'd try was the Eyelet Rib Wristlets by Annabelle Speer. These are an easy lace project. If you are new to lace knitting, give these a try. It is simple and makes for a beautiful and stretchy finished project.

I used up some stash yarn I had. The pattern calls for DK weight yarn. I don't have a lot of DK weight in my stash, but it only took 60 yards of Jo-Ann Sensations Cuddle in Turquoise to finish them. This happens to be my daughter's favorite color, so she quickly took possession of the wristlets. This is an amazing pattern that they stretch to fit any size hand.
